Netflix is releasing “I Will Find You,” an eight-part drama based on a Harlan Coben novel, on June 18, 2026. This is the 13th adaptation of Coben’s novels made by Netflix.
Unlike many previous Coben adaptations set in the UK, “I Will Find You” takes place in New York, adding an American setting to the mystery and suspense story. Sam Worthington stars as David Burroughs, a man serving a life sentence in a Maine prison for the suspected murder of his son. Despite his conviction, David insists he is innocent and faces a past filled with tragedy.
David’s life changes when his former sister-in-law, Rachel Mills, played by Britt Lower, an investigative journalist who never believed David was guilty, shows him a recent photo that suggests his son Matthew might still be alive. This discovery leads David to break out of prison with Rachel’s help to find the truth about his son.
The story follows their efforts to uncover a complex web of lies, including a worldwide conspiracy involving secretive figures. The series explores themes of family loyalty, redemption, and the efforts a father will make to find and protect his child. Rachel and David work together, supported by other characters like Hayden, Rachel’s ex-partner played by Milo Ventimiglia, who helps in their search.
The series was developed alongside Coben’s novel to closely follow the book. Each of the eight episodes runs about 40 minutes and offers a story with action, suspense, and emotional moments.
Netflix continues to invest in Harlan Coben’s work as part of its plan to offer mystery shows. Past adaptations like “Missing You,” “Fool Me Once,” and “Hold Tight” have built a fan base. “I Will Find You” aims to reach more viewers with its U.S. setting and gripping story.
Critics and viewers will be able to watch “I Will Find You” after its June 18 release. It is part of Netflix’s June lineup, which includes the U.S. remake of “The White Lotus” on June 19 and the second season of “Avatar: The Last Airbender” on June 25.
“I Will Find You” will stream worldwide on Netflix starting June 18, 2026, offering a story of mystery, resilience, and family ties set against a crime thriller backdrop.
